Obtaining of high-quality ore and non-metallic sand for compliance with the current standards, as a rule, requires its purification from small silty and clay (dispersed) classes. It is known that the most effective way of cleaning sand from such impurities is the hydraulic method.
To wash the sand effectively, we developed concepts for processing plants that can be used both in the composition of hydro-mechanized mining complexes and in the dry excavation of the base ore. The washing process is carried out in a vertical and horizontal flow of pulp with gravity deposition of heavy classes. For the preparation of pulp and the implementation of the classification process, a closed water supply cycle is implemented with the usage of horizontal sedimentation tanks system.
We have developed a number of design versions for washing stations, adapted to domestic operating conditions and are characterized by sufficient efficiency at much lower financial costs. Our innovative developments are successfully applied as a part of technological mining and processing complexes.
